A native of Peoria, Lesley Brinkman-Mosiman received her
bachelor's degree from Loyola University in Chicago, her master's from Bradley
University in Peoria, and M.D. from Rush Medical College in Chicago. She
performed her residency at the University of Illinois College of Medicine at OSF
Saint Francis Medical Center in Peoria from 1986-1990.
Dr.
Brinkman-Mosiman received the State of Illinois National Board of Medical
Examiner's certification (1986) and became a Fellow of the American Board of OB/GYN
(1992). She later served as Clinical Instructor for the Department of OB/GYN
at the University of Illinois College of Medicine (1986-1995), the University of
Illinois MECCO Student Summer Program (1990-Present), and the Department of Family
Practice at Methodist Medical Center (1990-Present).
An active member of the Tazewell County Medical Society, Illinois
State Medical Association, American Medical Association and the Gynecologic
Society of Peoria, Dr. Brinkman-Mosiman joined Park Ridge OB/GYN in 1990.
Also to her credit, she served on the Pekin Hospital Tissue & Transfusion
Committee (1991-1995) and was President of the Pekin YWCA (2000-2001) and the
Tazewell County Medical Society (1999). Currently, she is the Chairman of
the OB/GYN Department at Pekin Hospital. She joined with Dr. Eric
Reinertson and Certified Nurse Midwives Bonnie Cox and Nancy Vidic to form the
Women's Center for Health in 2002.
Dr. Brinkman-Mosiman lives in Pekin with her husband and two
children. She enjoys keeping fit by walking and playing soccer and is
involved in many community activities.
