Raised in North Dakota, Eric Reinertson began his career as a Certified Nurse Aid. He received his bachelor's in Nursing from the University of Wyoming in 1984 and subsequently worked as a Registered Nurse until 1986. He entered Medical School at the University of North Dakota, where he received his M.D. in 1990. He later moved to St. Louis and completed a residency in OB/GYN in 1994 at Washington University, Barnes Hospital. He also served as an Administrative Chief Resident.
He joined with Dr. Lesley Brinkman-Mosiman and Certified Nurse Midwives Bonnie Cox and Nancy Vidic to form the Women's Center for Health in 2002. Dr. Reinertson lives in Pekin with his wife and two daughters. He is actively involved in music and church and he plays in the Praise band at Our Savior Lutheran Church in Pekin. Dr. Reinertson also dedicates time to be the Combo Director for Pekin Community High School's Championship Show choirs: Intuition and The Noteables.
