REGISTERED NURSES

  •     Carol    Hello! I am Carol Beyer, a registered nurse and lactation specialist. I have been working at this office for nearly 10 years and just love it. I have always had a special interest in woman’s health and I worked for 9 ½ years in the OB Department at Pekin Hospital before joining the office. I enjoyed taking care of laboring moms and assisting with the breastfeeding process. There is something very special about a baby being born.  Working at Women’s Center for Health is always an evolving day-to-day journey of fun. We employees feel like we are connected as a family. It is a pleasure coming to work with Dr. Brinkman, Dr. Reinertson, Nancy, Kara & Kristi.

As for my personal side outside the office, I am married to Bob and have 2 children. But the highlight of my life is my 4 grandchildren. I also love to travel – anywhere! I always keep my suitcase handy! Another passion is scrap booking, shopping, and playing hand bells at my church. I always thought as one ages, life becomes calmer. Not so for me!

Welcome to our website, and I hope to meet you soon! Carol

  •     Christy    Christy has been a Registered Nurse since 1994.  She has been employed with our office since January of 2005.  She is a life-long resident of Pekin and likes working in her home town.  She has been happily married to her husband Tom, since 1998 and has a spunky little boy, Joshua.  Christy loves animals and currently shares her home with cats, Jack and Bootsie.  She started out as a patient at The Women's Center for Health, which she continues to be.  She struggled with years of infertility and a pregnancy loss, for which she sought the assistance of Dr. Reinertson.  She now looks forward to expander her family further.  Christy has been specially trained to perform Urodynamics Testing in our office.  She also performs all other basic nursing care.  She currently works part-time, and spends most of her days as a stay-at-home Mom.  She says she loves to come to work each week to work with people she calls her friends.  After years of fast-paced work as a cardiac and ICU Nurse, she says she likes the "like home" atmosphere at The Women's Center for Health.  She enjoys the constant learning of women's health issues and loves to watch women advance through their pregnancies.  Coming to work has become an enjoyable experience.  She looks forward to continuing her nursing career at The Women's Center for Health.
